 biography  work in progress. tldr; their parents were deemed unfit to take care of them at a young age, so they were given over to their uncle as the next of kin. despite the depression they fell into after their parents divorce and being taken out of their custody, koharu still retained some interest in ice skating. using that as a catalyst, their uncle took them under his wing and pushed them back into ice skating, fueling them with false promises. to be entirely honest, koharu didn't care much about the promises their uncle made, but moreso focusing on rekindling their passion. natural talent bloomed almost instantly, unfortunately leaving them as a prime victim for their manager's lust for stardom.under their birth name, they were forced into competition almost immediately. they only succeeded due to their harsh training conditions and true passion for the sport. they were truly talented, but they were practically just used as their uncle's cash cow. their reputation was steady and almost perfect up until a big performance with other skaters. from a wardrobe malfunction on their end, they accidentally caused a pileup on the ice causing injury to themself and many others, 4 of which being fatal. the incident blew up on social media, news anchors feeding off of it and many in the audience recording and taking photos. they were found guilty and served 6 months of probation prior to game events. they transferred to kokatsu academy, altered their appearance and changed their name, though due to none of their family members wanting to associate with them, their homeroom teacher, kumi katayama, chose to take care of them. leading them to live primarily alone, but reluctantly accepting katayama's support.they became a palace ruler, the pts beat their shadow and retook their desire yada yada im too tired for this anyway. they joined the group after yes yes. for fun reasons, their shadow and palace still exist, they're just not causing any real world issues. heart.
